Professional Polish, Inc., located at 5450 East Loop 820 South, Fort Worth, Texas 76119, was organized as a corporation under the laws of the State of Texas in 1983. The main business of the company is franchising janitorial services, lawn care and building maintenance. Professional Polish, Inc. (PPI) operates under various names to identify its' operations and have synergy with its customers and clients. Professional Polish is a trademark name for the janitorial (PPJS), lawn maintenance (PPLS), Professional Polish Equipment (ALTO-CLARKE) (PPE) services. Professional Polish, Inc. also operates a building maintenance company under the trade name of Maintenance by Design.

Professional Polish was started 1981 as a franchise by Carren Cavanaugh doing janitorial maintenance. She was later joined in the business by Sid Cavanaugh, her husband. They have since developed the business in to a million dollar franchising operation with franchises in the South and Southeast.

As a result of their success in the janitorial maintenance field, they decide to make this opportunity available on a franchise basis in 1983.

Professional Polish, Inc., has added a division with the name of Professional Polish Equipment Co., (a Clarke distributor, Tomcat Distributor, Sanitaire Distributor, Kaivac Distributor, and IPC Eagle Distributor) to improve the quality and price of equipment available to their franchisees. Professional Polish Equipment Co. also sells and rents janitorial and maintenance equipment to the general market.
